true, I live in West Palm. I hope they don't move that stadium deeper south, it's already a drive as is. As for Dontrelle's arm, I hope he doesn't get proud and try to play through pain. He's already got 3 CG on the season and it's very possible that fatigue is catching up to him. The last thing we need is for him to pull a Penny on us.

I wonder how everybody in Miami is so lovey dovey with Mike Lowell, who's in the worst slump of his life and making 7.5 Mill this year but hate on Dave Wannstedt or any player for the Dolphins like a mother when they hit slumps?

I agree with Willis being the Marlins 3rd starter.

We have a game again. 4-2 Dodgers.

Chop, I also agree with Willis being the Marlins 3rd starter.

Choose,
Lowell is a crowd favorite in Miami. He went to Coral Gables High School and then played college ball at FIU. He's a smart player, he knows the game of baseball well, he even has his own radio show on one of the stations down here where he fields questions from callers.
He's been hitting some balls hard, they are just right at people. It happens. They aren't finding holes right now, the guy is making contact at the plate as evidenced by his 15 strikeouts in over 110 ABs. Pretty good contact and low strikeouts for somewhat of a power hitter. Just for comparison, Miguel Caberera who is batting .377 has almost double that strikeout amount, he's in the upper 20's.
Wannstedt got ran out of town because of the high expectations people have for the Dolphins and how critical they are and because he suceeded Jimmy Johnson. Lowell probably succeeded an overage Terry Pendleton or some crap and has made the All-Star team and put up some solid numbers.
If he doesn't break out of his slump soon, you'll definitely hear some mumblings. But he's hitting the ball they just aren't falling.

For lowell is the new "mr. marlin". I don't know what would happen if they decided to trade him. it may one day happen, but i don't want to think about it. I listen to his show whenever I get a chance, i think its on like at 2 or 3 on 560 or 790 AM. he's definetly a good man and its an honor to have him here? i just ask because the topic came up on one of the sports talk shows here. I think it definetly has a lot to do with the fact the marlins are winning. that's plain and simple? you win, everybody is happy. and like you said, lowell has built a reputation for being good with 3 all stars and a world series. Wannstedt---nothing. well he did get the #2 pick in this years draft. I have another question that was on the station...Which D.W. is a bigger star-Dwayne Wade or Dontrelle Willis?

o yeah we got a game 4-3
