Do you guys find more scalp opps when comparing both the land based vegas sportsbooks lines then you do if you just follow the offshore books numbers? Ive always wondered about that.

Vegas straddles are usually too big to find a scalp.Even at the places that deal a dime line for baseball they all watch the screen and don't get far off track. Now don't forget if you do find one the limits most of the time will make it a not worth it.

As these places keep buying each other it is making gambling in this town worse and worse.

I know lots of people don't like Steve Wynn but,

He is gonna cripple some joints as far as the really, really high end play when he opens back up.

I am afraid when that happens the bean counters will squeeze everybody else even worse. If that is even possible.

I don't think there is any doubt about it that he will get plenty of high end play back. Also with his interests in Asia now when his big players from there want to come to LV,now where are they going to go.

Also I think you are right these places will be losing players and sticking it to the rest of their patrons.

Sorry to say Nicky, but I figured you would agree.

Really sad but most people now have no idea how great Vegas used to be. I'm not talking Rat Pack here. I just mean 5 to 10 years ago.

Look at the positive fellas, Wynn will hire a good SB Manager, he will have original opening numbers.

Wynn will strive to have one of the top 3 Books in LV again, as he is a leader, not a follower, and will insist on his SportsBook in being the same..imho.

FYI: Vinny Magliulo, formerly of Caesars, has been hired to run the race and sports book.
