Hi all,I'm new to the states from AUS. Over here for work and really love a punt on the horses. One thing that I'm really struggling to get my head around is the morning line that is created. Back in Aus we have whats called fixed odds betting, where we can back a horse at a price in the morning and the odds you've backed it at doesn't change. Is the anybody on this forum that could help me out as i don't wish to stop beating now i'm in the states!
Morning Line is nothing more than an expert's guess on what will be the actual closing (final) odds.

... put up an outsider price and scoop the better price himself??
Aussie racing has you more than well conditioned to handle American racing.
I've never seen that posted anywhere. If you're wiley enough to make that assertion then "luckless punter" you are not.
While some ML makers still try and make a price for themselves, there are usually enough wise guys around to extinguish the plot.
Welcome aboard.

Correct pro factor, I'm very interested in American races. The triple crown is something that amazes me. We've got Melbourne/Caufield cup double. and the Cox plate, but one horse 3 massive rsces in one season is incredible
