I noticed some individuals copied another web site's look and content. Can anything be done?

I am sure that there are 'do it yourself' ways to do this but you would need to be fluent in Spanish (don't know if you are)

if you are not you will have to get ahold of a lawyer

if you are fluent in Spanish then start googling to see what legislation there is on this sort of thing........and THEN contact a lawyer with your findings and say "I want to do this and that" (I imagine it would cost less $ if you sort of 'lay out the plan' as opposed to 'un mae me copio el site.....ahora que ?'


of course you could get luckily if you draft a letter to the legal deparment of the hosting company and try to reason with them (that would be my first step)

if it is content, you can take his/her domain, going straight to ICAHN... you just need proof (you can check archive.org for that) that you used the content first.

For the look and feel, you are kinda screwed on that one.

Fuze, I also thought someone could shed some light into the subject. I think its sad an individual can't take 10 minutes out of the day to write content on their own site. I'm not crying about it, but I'd like it to stop. These guys did such a shitty job the url is still in the content....lol. :>(
