I have Palmer -20.5 tonight...Do they count sack yardage into the total passing yards??? i can't imagine why they would, but on yahoo, for net yards passing, they subtract the sack yards from total pass yds....
Sportsbet that's only in college football that sack yards count as or against a QB's rushing yards. And to answer your question ID, no. The only thing that would effect a QB's net passing yards is if he throws a pass and a player gets tackled behind the line of scrimmage to my knowledge.
Wil, that's strange I could have sworn that they don't count sack yards in the NFL as rushing or passing yards but only in college where it counts as a rush.
Go2guy, to be honest I am not sure where books get their stats when grading this kind of prop. The link I provided is the National Football League Game Summary, which is official for record keeping purposes. Now looking at live ingame stats at NFL.com the yards sacked have not been duducted yet.
