How was paying handled for this if this tourney was started in the summer, and not finished until november? I mean without knowing the answer it almost sounds like Vegas mighta made a killing by witholding a huge chunk of money and gaining interest on it for 3-4 months. anyone clear this up for me.

they originally said they'd put it in the bank for interest and add to winners pool - however, after a few days that was rescinded from the statements on all the websites - not quite sure what they did

but yes, 30 million in the bank would have been good for vegas for 4 months

They gave all the 9 9th place money. They will just deduct the 950,000 or so from what they get. They also will get the interest from what it collected.

So if you win $9 million in a poker tournament, what do you tip the dealers?

Man, that's a lot of money to tip. I'm not sure what I'd do in that situation.

So if you win $9 million in a poker tournament, what do you tip the dealers?

Thats hard to answer because in any tournaments that I have played in Atlantic City and won or split. I always go right to the floor and talk to them about tipping and 95% of the time he says all the dealers split the tips from the tournament. So technically you cant just tip the dealer who dealt you the hand to win the tournament. If you do give the dealer money it just gets spread out amongst all the dealers. Now if you want to ask the dealer who dealt you with winning hand of the tournament and say meet me here or give me your number and I will send you money. Thats a way it could be done.
