I like it, Mets head back to Shea after this, already won 1st 3, can see a lot of Mets resting. Thing that worries me is the Pen , but they should be well rested. Go for it, I am METS/PITT UN 8.5 -115

Aug 17 After Reyes had one error Sunday, and nearly had a second and almost was picked off second base, manager Jerry Manuel said he would be off Monday, the NY Daily News' Mets blog reports.

I could see the Pirates winning this game like 5-1 or 5-2.

Any word if John Maine's shoulder/arm will be able to make it 5+ innings?

This Maholm kid for the Pirates doesn't look to shabby.

I'm thinking maybe NY might let up a bit since their lead in the NL East is getting bigger and Phillies & the Fish are sliding a bit.

Maholm is 6-1 @ Home with a 3.06 ERA while Maine is 5-6 on the road with a 3.95.

Maholm's first appearance vs. Mets in '08 but carreer v NY he is 3-1 with a 2.16 ERA (25.0IP/6ER) so it's looking like he'll be coming out strong. Just hoping the Pirates bats can help him.
