Good luck to those who still trust the system after being lied to over and over for >20 months... what does it take for you to finally understand? I stand pat, still, no vaccine for me.

Once hospitalized or after someone close dies unfortunately...so many new stories with someone claiming they just didn't know it was so bad from a hospital bed.. I'd say No you didn't listen or take advantage of what the rest of the world is wishing that had...the option of being vaccinated.

So I'm anti-mask pro-vaccine. Sort of like Trump in his views. I say live your life. I had covid in late march this year. Wasn't too bad, felt crappy for a couple days, didn't know why, assumed it was allergies, two days in I remembered the smell test, couldn't smell a thing, got tested and was positive. By the time I got tested symptoms were pretty much gone.

That being said I still got vaccinated two months later, why? Not because I was afraid of Covid in any way. I got it because it was free, easy and I'm not scared of vaccines!! I had them as a child, my children have them as babies for diseases I never heard of, I just trust the doctors.

I understand this was rushed out faster then normal. But it wasn't like the rushed it out in a week or two. Thousands of people were dying and they still waited 8 months until they felt confident it was safe enough. Thats enough for me, doctors and the medical community are always overly safe (wear seatbelts, no tackle football, etc) So if in an emergency they rush something out in 8 months instead of 2 years I still feel pretty safe about them.

I fully understand they don't know everything about Covid yet. I had the pfizer vaccine. If they recommend a booster I'll get it eventually when it's convienient. Whatever. I'm sure I'm plenty immune already but like I said not afraid of vaccines. Throw in no limitations of places needing vaccine cards and it's a no brainer to me.

I believe when hospitals tell us what % of covid admissions are vaccinated vs unvaccinated, that seems more credible than most arguments. Are thy lying? Maybe, since raw data seems to be unaccessible to anybody, maybe that's the case here too. But I think individual hospitals are reporting this stuff, not filtered throw the CDC or Fauci's Machine

What I absolutely don't trust is their narrative about who's spreading the virus. They have no fucking idea, they're just talking out their ass. We know vaccinated people can and do become inflicted, we know they're usually asymptomatic, so it's plausible they're spreading it as much as vaccinated people are

I too am anti mask, I know they don't offer much protection for healthy people

I'm opposed to government lockdowns

I'm opposed to government mandated vaccine passports

I support any individual, any family, any business that wants to implement mask or vaccine requirements. They have the freedom to do so

Perhaps but that wasn't the way they sold this thing when they rolled it out ..

if you get covid it won't kill you is way less ambitious then what we were told.

being able to protect yourself from getting covid and preventing the spread of it others was the major selling points of this vaccine and it did not deliver and now were all the way down to " well you won't die from covid if you have it"

With that being said anyone attempting to enforce any mandate based on the above is obviously up to something.
