Hello guys first post here, trying to figure out some avergaes on winning percentages for a new system I am working on but I am having some problems with the math.

For example I would like to know what is the probability of going 3-0, 2-1, 1-2, 0-3 on any given night with a winning percentage of 55%. I know that the chances of going 3-0 are about 16.6% (.55 X .55 X .55) and that a 0-3 night is going to happen around 9.1% of the time but I can't figure out the other 2 percentages and any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks alot,

Florida Guy

Prob of 2-1: (.55 x .55 X .45) *3

Prob of 1-2: (.45 x .45 x .55) *3.

Fezzik thanks man I appreciate it I forgot to times the results by 3 which is why I wasn't getting the correct results. One more question if you don't mind.

Would the probability of losing 8 2 team parlays of the same bets, (IE betting the Under & the Underdog all 8 times), be 6.7%? I came to the conclusion that 25% of the time the game will be the under and the underdog, 25% the favorite and the over, 25% the favorite and the under, and 25% the underdog and the over. So my thinking was
(.75 X .75 X .75 X .75 X .75 X .75 X .75 X .75= 6.7%) Would this thinking be correct? Thanks again for any help.
