I used to go on the boat out of Cape Canaveral all the time with Fishhead. They don't offer any sports betting. I went on the one out of Tampa a few years ago and they did offer it. They were the Suncruz. I don't know if they offer it now. Call them and ask. You have to be on the boat for 4-5 hours. It is a nice trip and free though.

Ben - I have not been out there in a while but they are generally bad for sportsbetting. Some of the boats don't even offer it. The one's that do have strict rules they have to follow. They can only accept and pay out the bet in international waters and on the same trip. You can not bet a game unless it starts and ends while you are on the cruise. The limit was a dime when I used to go but not sure if it has changed. Once in a while if you bet the cold side you could get down for a little more but not often.

Overall I'd say poor for sportsbetting though I admit I have not been out lately. I'd say bring your account and phone numbers for the off-shore joints.

The Sun Cruz out of Tampa has a $1000 limit. On Monday nights they offer up -105 vig which is nice. The downside is that if you win, you cannot collect until the next cruise. Overall, the boat is very small and has only two bars, both crappy. They do offer up some nice 8-16 live holdem games though that are usually pretty loose. Very smokey in the card room too.

The boat that Kyhawk is talking about is 8-1 over the Sun Cruz. It is called the Sterling. But they offer up no sportsbetting or live poker. But the boat is a 1600 passenger cruise liner and has 5 nice bars. Uusally alot of nice babes on the boat. The boat offers up 5 levels of gaming. A trully great casino overall and being a platinum card member allows the holder to buy four rounds at a time for unlimited time on the cruise. Lived in Vegas for 17 years, and still this is one of my favorite casinos of all-time.

To give you an idea of what losers Patrick and I were, once we took a trip over to this large cruise liner one fine evening. Understand we need to pass through 4 toll booths each way. Well, you guessed it. On the way back, McIpoor and I had 14 cents between the two of us....and half of that was what I found on the car floor.

The funny thing is, neither one of us had admitted to the other that we were dead broke until we had arrived at the first toll booth. I guess we were both ashamed of being bustouts.

I remember when i was younger i would go to atlantic city and wound up dead broke (i mean like lint in my pockets broke) and didnt have the money for the garden state tolls. Every time i got to a toll booth (about 6 times) i would make believe i put the money in a nd it didnt register and would yell to the guy in the next booth and he would wave me thru...pretty pathetic

Been and Fish, I can easily top that one. I would go to Atlantic City alot once I turned 18, never got checked for ID and was told as long as I didnt hit a slot for big not to worry, anyway I knew I would be drunk that night so I Drove from my house in the Bronx to the Bus Terminal in Times Square, parked my car in a lot down there and took a Bus from Times Square to AC, it was one of those shuttle buses with no stops but Atlantic City, I blew every penny I had but had the return ticket, I get back to Times Square at about 4am and DONT HAVE A PENNY ON ME TO GET THE CAR OUT OR TO TAKE A BUS, TRAIN, TAXI HOME!!!! I convince the attendant to let me take the car out and I would return to pay him the next day, he took my watch as collateral and I paid him the next day, LMAO!!!!
