Fish, when you file your schedule A, do you pay taxes quaterly, or just wait till the end of the year?

I used to file estimated taxes, but no more.

Quarterly payments are not worth it and the penalties are small nickels and dimes if you can use the money for investments in other places that more than make up for the penalties.

I think quite possibly that you have a hair less chance of being audited if you do make estimated payments, but not that big a deal.

Bigbet- If you have a penalty, you will know when you file your taxes next April.

Talk to your tax advisor.
