Question for Duke/NC viewers?

How was that not a backcourt violation just now on Reddick?

the NC player never touched the ball, and Reddick dribbled it off his leg into back court, went and got it, and nothing happened.....

It turned out they didnt score, so it really didnt matter, but what did I miss there?

Some of the worst home cooking ever. Ewing walks with 1:30 to go and the clock runs to 1:26. UNC scores with 55.1 to go and the clock doesn't stop until 51.8. That last ball went out with .8 to go. That was also a backcourt on Redick. Sean May probably is tired as heck as Shelden Williams has been on his back all night long. Roy Williams was outcoached so bad in that game. Why he had Noel covering Redick is confusing to me. McCants shut him down but everytime Noel covered him, Redick would hit a 3. Why Noel is in that game for the last possession makes no sense. Where is Manuel or Jawad Williams? Also, Duke fans are still loud but they have lost any originality they ever had. They jump up and down and they yell Let's go Duke. Maryland will pull out the broom on them on Saturday.

It was impossible to tell from the TV angle but maybe the defender got a hand on the ball knocking it into the backourt. There really is no other explanation. How does NC not get off a shot with 18 seconds to play with? The guard just didn't want to be the shooter I quess - he passed up a 20 footer inside 8 seconds.

Congrats to Duke bettors - very nice win with a live dog.

Don't know if you saw the post game interview with Reddick but he commented that Duke anticipated the exact play that North Carolina tried to run in the final 18 seconds because it is the same play they ran last year with the attempt to dribble out front, turn and dish for a three. Reddick cut off the play which is why there was nothing there when they turned and they ended up trapped along the side out with too many players and defenders all together. Roy Williams should get a copy of the tape of the post game interview and change his strategy if that indeed was the case.

Did reddick comment on the backcourt even though UNC prob wouldnt have ran a descent play with a min left! Watchout for a big comeback against conn. Or, maybe a let down?

90% of the guys here loved nc and duke was getting points at home where they get all the calls. if you dont know duke gets all the calls when they are home, then you shouldn't be betting. i couldn't believe how many guys loved nc here.

It was the main reason I didn't bet much more on the game..I have seen Duke's home cooking for 25 yrs (since Coach K got there)....that being said UNC looked like sh!T most of the night! What kind of clusterfvck was that on the final posession? All the JJ Reddick not quick enough bashers may pipe down now, Reddick's fitness level is 100% better than last yr...I was just amazed that Felton could not penetrate on the last play...

Since coach K took over 30-30 lifetime vs UNC, that just shows how much Dean Smith dominated Duke...

Duke now on a 15-2 run vss UNC...they will pay dearly at UNC , the last game of reg season!

I'ms ure most of those guys liked Duke against Maryland as well.....

It's a no-brainer Duke is 99% likely to get the calls at home and with their 3 point shooting. Damn tough to beat there.

Carolina never settled into their game...very briefly but never got into a good flow, of course Duke had alot to do with it....Carolina still the better team IMO..

Duke will not be in St Louis...still amazing coach K has this team in the position they are considering he loses Duhon (senior) and Deng (Soph) to the NBA , the young players did step up last night....

Jeez, they got some unexpected 3 pointers though from Nelson, what a game the freshman had... Duke also went 21-22 from the line...

I was shocked at how sloppy Carolina looked handling the ball....that more than anything else killed the Heels...Since when does Carolina make so many unforced errors?
