Guys, I really like Seattle this weekend to win-outright.....

But my question is how does the travel hurt Them...????

Basically Sea to Az then back to Sea then to Minn (play in -20 temps) back to Sea and now across the entire USA to Car..... All in the last 15 or so days..

Does Carolina with a weeks rest beat Seattle on the fatigue factor alone????

Honestly does this type of travel not affect a team???

They are professionals and not their first rodeo... I think the bye week is going to kill Carolina the first half

IMO travel = little advantage. These are pros. For some better. Crowd and stadium yes. I think Carolina will have their hands full. Hawks cover/win.

I like Seattle also but I think you make a very, valid point. Obviously, had they played on Saturday, it would have been a help. I remember a few years back when Seattle lost to Atlanta in a similar scenario. They looked like they were sleepwalking through the first half and then came on strong in the 2nd only to barely fall short of winning the game. Had it not been for the travel, I'm convinced they would have beat Atlanta. We also all know how that Monday night West Coast team plays when they have to go to the East Coast and play the 1pm Eastern time game the following Sunday (I realize they didn't play on Monday but think it's a valid comparison). This isn't a video game. These guys are human. I think you just have to hope the adrenaline pushes them through when those legs get tired. Good post! Knock 'em dead this weekend.

This will be the 3rd straight road game for SEA since Jan 3rd. At AZ, Minn and now CAR. In addition, they'll have the early Sun game on the east coast. GL with whatever you pick.

It's impossible to know, its def not a positive for Seattle...

But this isn't the 70's when these guys had to squeeze on buses and planes. Each player gets their own row of seats on the team plane.

When Seattle made their first super bowl, their team jet was the envy of the nfl - it was Paul Allens private jet with first class leg room on every seat and all the bells and whistles...he sold it and they fly Hawaiian now

While on the road there is less chance to "fool around" with the wife or girl friend(s); Like Rocky's trainer said, "Sex leaves the guys with weak legs".....
A good coach will tell the players to leave the women alone........until after we win the game. Harder to enforce that strategy while sleeping at home with the "old Lady"

"women weaken legs" is Mickey's exact quote.
And, factually, unless you stay up all night and miss your sleep, sex will not in any way effect your performance on the field.

So, it would be best to have a "quick run" at it (perhaps just to take the "edge-off") and then go to sleep......

i think is the opposite, they probably get more tail on the road away from their wives and girlfriends. dwayne bowe let the cat out of the bag in an interview in his 1st or 2nd year in the league.

I would start at 6pm, pound away until 10pm, then get my sleep.

I like your style Serbone.....God knows we have to keep a few things in life on the lighter-side....especially when it comes to sports betting.

Good luck with your plays this week-end.
