ok let's see now....if the pats are -3 at Denver, then they are saying -6 on neutral field, and -9 at new England...???

I would never think they would be -9 at home against Denver... is this line way off for a reason and i get the balance for the bets but they are getting 70% pats $$???

Do Vegas handicappers really think pats are that much better???

Isn't there value on Denver??

I'm pretty set on playing cardinals but this game has me thinking.. i like the broncos at first site, but line has me puzzled a bit...

thoughts / comments.. all are welcome

PATS are a magnet for $$. I've read many times where folks have said "nobody bets against Brady".
I thought about that line earlier in the week and had the same thoughts. Are they playing the public on Peyton's arm? Are they playing the public on NE beating KC not knowing that KC had an injured defensive line? Do they think the line is OK despite NE not having a run game?
75% of the bets are in on NE.
Have you ever read something along these lines "NE is getting the early money". Yea, the book took in 50 as the first bet for NE. I'd like to know how much $$ are on NE and Den.
Remember. NO FREE LUNCH and VEGAS WASN'T BUILT ON WINNERS.

All I've been reading Is that Manning is washed up. He doesn't have the arm.

Here are some stats that I looked up a few days ago. Tell me how they can justify 3.5/3 for NE.
Passing leaders #7 Tom Brady, #8 Peyton Manning
Total offense #7 NE, #8 Den
RK TEAM YDS YDS/G PASS P YDS/G RUSH R YDS/G PTS/G
7 New England 340 340.0 302 302.0 38 27 27.0
8 Denver 324 324.0 215 215.0 109 109.0 23
Passing offense #6 NE, #8 Den
Total Defense goes to #1 Denver, #9 NE
Passing Defense #1 Denver, #17 NE
Rushing Defense #3 Denver, #9 NE
Receiving yds leaders #1 Denver, #20 NE

Do y'all ever use the eye test? Like actually watching how a team performed? Not being rude just wondering.

Because what I saw was New England basically have their way with a ROLLING KC defense. Not to mention completely shut down their offense which is just run of the mill.

Next we have an obviously shell of himself QB who even in his prime couldn't perform well in the playoffs. His head coach is Gary Fucking Kubiak who couldnt coach his way out of a wet paper bag and has been OWNED by BB his entire coaching career. Also, Pittsburgh minus their best 3 offensive weapons and with a hurt QB absolutely shouldve won last weeks game by 21 points. they had 5 plays over 50 yards and scored 13 points? Wade Phillips will get exposed by Josh McDaniels, watch how many times he gets Gronk and James White (is that their RB's name?) in 1on1 situations with LB's.

It's this simple:

NE Offense>Denver Defense
NE Defense>Denver Offense
Brady>Manning
Bellichick>Kubiak
McDaniels>Phillips

This one may get lopsided.

whats lost in all this is the huge coaching edge in this game..gives me great trepidation w my denver play...haven t found penalty yards yet but lets just assume denver is the more un disciplined team...turnovers will be key of course, another ne advantage

can't be as big of a coaching advantage when patriots went into Denver two years ago and Denver had John Fox and Jack Del Rio. Lol. If there is any angle here, it is that Denvers coaching staff are way improved.

Not a chance in hell that Kubiak is an improvement over Fox. The only way this game is won is if Kubiak gets out of Peyton's way on offense and just lets him call what he wants from the line, and of course he turns into the vintage regular season version of Peyton manning.

I agree about Kubiak being a lousy coach and needs to get out of Peyton's way. We have had Texans season tickets since year 3 and he was the coach forever . Kubiak ran the same offense in Houston that Shanny Sr did at Denver the whole time. He never shows any imagination and is resistant to changes. His clock management is horrible. The Hoody definitely gives the Pats the coaching advantage.

lol Kubiaks system works with peyton because it takes pressure off the quarterback. It was the right fit, and an improvement given the current situation. Denvers coaching staff and management is the reason they are where they are this year with a noodle arm qb or a backup. Fox was just a guy there that anyone could of replaced and actually provided something more than just watch Peyton set records. and don't get me started on that loser jack del rio.

Pats didnt have any trouble scoring when they played against Denver earlier. That was without Edeleman and Amendola. All they had was Gronk. Manning has thrown one TD this whole season at home. Brady has actually thrown more TDs in Denver than Manning has 3-1

If the number of touchdowns you throw indicates who will win the game....then Peyton should have more superbowls. The weapons are still there for Denver.

I am just pointing out in 7 games at home this season Manning has thrown 1 TD.
