Nothing of importance really I was just curious. Everyone has seen Odell's touchdown catch to win the game yesterday .... what I'm a little confused about is the penalty. I do not agree with him taking his helmet off ... he needs to be more aware of his actions bc eventually they will end up costing the giants a W .... I'm just confused bc he actually didn't take his helmet off until he was out of the back of the endzone!

Does anyone know exactly what the rule states bc he definitely wasn't in the field of play:think2::think2:

Run out of end zone, out of sidelines or in field,which you "involved with prior play", you will get a personal foul if you taking off your own helmet.No question asked unless that play is continue with the time out follow

I could be wrong but it looked like he mouthed something to the refs as he was running up the sidelines after he had taken off his helmet. I was watching this game yesterday and there were just some of the worst calls I have ever seen go against the Giants at the end of that game. I did think the unsportsmanlike against Odell at the end was warranted though.

Vernon Davis got one yesterday after he scored as well. All he did was do a jump shot over the goal post with the ball.

That's using the ball as a prop. The players know the rules. The Odell one was Odell letting the refs know they made one of the worst calls in the history of Giants football.
