Question about RL's

Was looking at some rl's from the over night lines and I noticed that 75% of the time same game RL's (+/- 1.5) have both moved in the same direction! is this common?

For example:
COL open +136 -1.5 now +127
PITT open -146 +1.5 now -137


looking for input from guys who read RL's and play them.

huh? i must not understand what you are asking...

it is different sides of the same bet just like any bet if one side moves the other has to move with it.

Phil-1.5 +110 now +105
Nats +1.5 -130 now -125

Biggest one I seen today has been Tex/Sea
am Tex -1.5 +145 now +125
am M's +1.5 -165 now -145

And Sox Halo game switched from Bos+1.5 this morn to -1.5 now. Havent found anything consistent here but been watching.

That sox halo line was because the SOX went from dogs to favs on the ML.

Lets keep an eye on this game tonight:

San Fran +1.5 has become $10 more expensive -191 to -200
Dodgers -1.5 has improved by $5. 178 - 183

94% of the number of bet have been on dodgers RL.

64% on are on the dodgers ML the line dropped a buck.

they move off the ML as the fav line moves up the +rl money has to come down same with dog ml + goes up rl- comes down

How to bet runlines:

Do take the road fav, they get 9 innings.
Don't take the home fav. If they are winning after 8, they don't bat in th e 9th. Only exception is taking the home DOG on the ARL getting great odds back, but play the home dog straight too.

Okay heres what I learned yesterday.


1. not all money lines and run lines move in conjunction. There is usually a $2 to $3 difference. more on this later

2. Road ML favorites went 2-2 on the RL. Mets and Tigers won and Phillies won but did not cover and colorado lost out right. Here are their line movements:

METS ML up $9 RL dwn $12 - Meaning the ML got more expensive and the RL less of a payout

TIGERS ML up $10 RL dwn $8 - Hmmmm

PHILLIES ML up $23 RL dwn $20 - 1 run win for phillies

COL ML up $1 RL dwn $1 - Rockies lose game as -120 favs


3. Home ML favorites went 4-7 SU and of the 4 that won only 2 covered the RL, LAD and HOU. Texas and Minny won but did not cover the RL.

LAD ML up $3 RL up $3

HOU ML dwn $3 RL no change.

But the 7 road dogs that won 6 covered the ARL.

St louis and LAA were tough reads b/c up the large line movement, but as a side note St louis line went from +104 to +110 with the actual starting pitchers wellermeyer and campillo

So looking at the other 5....

Cubs and Tampa ML's dropped $2 and $1 and the +1.5 got more expensive to play $5 and $6!
Baltimore ML went up $6 and the +1.5 dropped $1. they didn't cover the -1.5
Arizona ended up flat but covered both
KC had a lot of late ml their ML went up $9 and the RL dropped $16.

So that's a lot of learning but only one days sample so nothing to get to excited about but today - lets look for.

Road Favs - With increase in the negative ML and a decrease in the positive RL

Road Dogs - With Under $5 movement on the ML and a increase in their +1.5.
