i received a e-mail from verification@billing.paypal.com

wanting my account password

the e-mail stated they are updating inactive accounts??? that havent been used in the last three months..


is this legit???

this is from Paypal's Security policy:

"Passwords:

Never, ever share your PayPal password with anyone. Never, ever share your PayPal password with anyone. PayPal representatives will NEVER ask you for your Password. If you believe someone else has gotten access to your password, please change it immediately and Contact Us."

They're people trying to get your info everywhere. I received at least 3 of those messages but they're not only attacking people with payment solution like Paypal or Neteller ,per instance they're sending similar emails to people paying hosting in order to gain access to your site. sh... times we are living in!!!

There's been a huge problem with this at paypal. Someone has been trying to harvest passwords from unsuspecting people. Never give your account password out to anyone...they should know it if they're with the company.

Are you 100% certain, would bet your life on it that this stuff does not come from PayPal?
If you are an active user of Paypal and they are making some $ from you , than I would agree it's legit. However, I find it a bit strange--that as soon as I closed my Paypal Acct--No more inquires!
