If there is a split national championship after the Sugar Bowl, how will the books determine which future bets to pay off....the team that is declared the AP national champ (likely USC) or the BCS national champ (likely the OU/LSU winner)?

I have a bet on USC at 6-1 and I was wondering what the ruling would be.

Thanks in advance guys,

Trout

I would assume it is the BCS champion as they would be the official CFB champion.

Go back and check the exact wording of the bet. It may say "sugar bowl winner". May also say "BCS champion"

I don't think many linesmakers are stupid enough to hang a prop on "college football champion" with all the BCS controversy.

Most likely that USC bet is going to be a loser, but check to make sure.

I have looked at 5 or 6 books during the year that offered this prop. Each one said the winner of the Sugar Bowl would be declared the champion. USC tickets are worthless.

I have USC with Olympic at 16-1.

It says SUGAR BOWL WINNER. It sucks and just not right. But nobody said life was fair when gambling.

So I would ass u me that all Futures are posted the same way.

FIGHT ON!!!
