Is there any possible way S. Florida upsets and wins outright tonight?

Appreciate any input.

Possible, yes. South Florida has talented guards and wing players, but front-court is not BE caliber. Marq doesn't have any true post players either. Decent matchup for SF-- if Jones and Verdejo are hitting jumpers and they keep Marquette off the O boards, I think they are capable of winning. Don't think it's as big a mismatch as odds might suggest. I still say Marquette is overrated.

I wouldn't be shocked. Not likely though. I think this one is decided by 2 either way though. Like the points tonight.

I am on the Marquette ML. I rarely play road ML, ASU last night was an exception. This play fits the same situation. South Florida is 1-12 vs top 100 opponents. They are awful at the FT line and not top 200 in the major defensive categories. Marquette doesn't turn the ball over. South Florida does had 2 extra days of rest and is at home. Wouldn't be shocked if USF covers, but don't see this as a letdown spot. Marquette knows who is still left on their Big East schedule.

I can't believe Hayward missed that putback. Not entirely surprised by the outcome.

Did I hear the commentator right when he said Dominic James is only 46% from the FT line this year? That is absolutely horrible if true.

He's probably even less in crunch time. I wouldn't want him on my team. He's a good penetrator and alley-oop finisher- that's about it.

He's a great two footed leaper. He finishes an alley-oop dunk per game.

The Big East B.B. schedule is grueling with no let up; this upset is not shocking.

This is why James will never be a NBA caliber PG one again his missed FTs hurt his team. I feel sorry for you guys that were on Marquette but I took that into consideration before even thinking about playing a side. His missed FTs are good for unders though!

I was def caught in chase mode tonight putting 5 Units on Marquette tonight, only had a 5 Unit play once all year........Marquette's lack of Inside play really hurts them and Dominic James is a horrible shooter, This team is a bit overratted right now, when they play Uconn, Pitt Or Louisville I will be looking the other way......U live and learn
