I bet the Stro's yesterday before the pitching change, so my bet is void due to the change.

I contacted the book and they said they can not credit the funds back into my account for wagering until the game has started?? WTF?

Does this sound right. I have other outs, but would like to get the extra money down on the Stro's

What book?

Total BS. If you bet the game listing any of the pitchers you should get your money back immediately upon a pitching change.

I would get my money back on the game and take my money somewhere else.

Not taking sides - just stating the problem books have. Pitching changes are not real changes until the new (changed to) pitcher actually makes a pitch. Suppose they void the bet based on a reported pitching change and refund the money to a bettors account and later the original pitcher is re-inserted into the starting pitching spot. When someone beside the original (now non-starting) pitcher throws the first pitch the book is free to void and refund bets.

NO, the book is no longer taking bets with the old pitchers and should therefore cancel the bet. All the books that I play with have cancelled out my old bets and allowed me to use my money.

Actually Will, if they call a pitching change, automatically the game is a no action for all bets listing that pitcher, so the money goes back into every customer's account immediately and a "new" game is put on the board with the new pitchers with the bets on action, or with the other pitcher listed, pending in the "new game". If for any reason, they call another pitching change, putting the original pitcher back on, the whole process starts all over again. The software will not recognize the "original bets" and put them back to pending since those bets were already graded as NO Action. So, there's no excuse for not putting the money back in his account, as soon as they put up the new game with the new pitcher. They do not have to wait for the game to start.

This can only happen if they have a software that does not allow pitching changes in the game, which i think is nearly impossible at this time.
