Question about 2nd half NBA wagers

if you bet the 2nd half, and the game goes into overtime, does overtime count towards the 2nd half wager?

I recall reading about one book that doesn't count the OT ( pretty sure it was NBA). It wasn't soccer. I can't remember which book.
