First thing is first and while I truly hate to say it and it leaves a nasty taste in my mouth, The Miami Dolphins are for real and I respect the fish. I think from muchos experience that flipping to both sides of the road in back to back weeks off of a loss as a capper is probably the single most devastating thing that you can do to yourself. I believe that Miami has the edge this week for multiple reasons but mainly due to handing a 69.7 Defensive passer rating to Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. The last time that any team pulled off a 69.7 DPR against the Patriots was…..well, I am not too sure and I study weekly DPR probably more than any capper on the planet Earth. I totally miscalculated the fish last week and I know better than to put my $$ against Buffalo at home. I want no part of the Miami Buffalo game this week. That being said, Go fish, I hope you go 2-0 and make a serious run this season.
Second thing is second and while I truly love to say it and it brings great pleasure to my heart, The Dallas Cowboys are a joke and I have zero respect for the blue star. That being said, I wish them well this week and I sure hope they win this week for the only reason that my city seems to be much happier on Monday morning when the Cowboys win. Other than that, I don’t give a dam. Mid September 2014 is the worst time in the history of the NFL to publicly display yourself as a Dallas Cowboys fan. I hate the Dallas Cowboys, but for some reason I believe they will pull it off this week. Go Cowboys but I’ll have to pass and hopefully not be forced to watch this garbage game.
Jax/ Skins- scratch
Pats / Vikes – scratch (I’ll get my refund on the Pats later in the season but not this week.)
Atlanta/ Bungholes- I was taught that it’s always Under until it’s over. I think this game has Over written all over it so it’s best for me to pass.
Rams / Bucs- I love Lovie but taking his side this soon just isn’t something that I am willing to do. Under baby, this game will never even sniff the over. I was taught very very long ago that a true bad ass capper with extreme knowledge of the game on the field as well as the game of exploiting the NFL will always choose a side, put your money where your mouth is and make your stand. I am not a totals capper and discipline is the only thing keeping me from hammering the under in this game.
Seattle Seahawks -5 (-108) $900
In week number one of the 2013 season I wrote quite a bit about the Seahawks and I was right on the money. Somewhere during the season I was side tracked and lost focus resulting in lots of money being left on the table. Nothing has changed as far as my thoughts on the Seahawks. If anything, they are even more deadly. There is no team in the NFL or in recent history that even closely resembles what Pete has assembled. This team has it all. Balance and chemistry are what makes the Seahawks the team that they are. Every single week it’s the same story told in the box score and the system that I run. Last week San Diego rushed for 52 yards on 24 carries. That comes to less than 2.2 yards per carry. That is not going to work against Seattle and it’s only going to get worse this week. It’s a very simple concept that I am getting at here. You must establish the run in most NFL games to succeed. You must have a balance. I guarandamtee you that when a team abandons the run, they will lose football games four out of five times. It is no secret. San Diego will never begin to establish the run in this game even if they try to. They are an unbalanced team without the fire power to make up for it especially when facing the Seattle Seahawks. Rivers thinks he is a gun slinger and in many people’s eyes he is. Unfortunately he is up against the task of facing the NFL’s best secondary this week. Sherman, Thomas, Chancellor will shut down this one dimensional offense that San Diego brings to the fight and its going to get real ugly as the afternoon goes on. Percy Harvin, Jesus, this guy is something that I cannot even describe and I consider myself pretty good with words. There is no better coach at creating mismatches than Pete. Harvin is pretty much impossible to matchup or read. Whether it be the sweep, read option , deep pass, short pass, or a simple bootleg the guy is going to burn you and if he does not then someone else will. Harvin has acceleration that is just mind boggling. His ability to rack up yards after the catch is just simply off the charts. I believe that Bevell will have a game plan built directly around Harvin once again this week and as the game unfolds, Lynch will do his thing and totally dominate the trenches. Balance is the key to the Seahawks success and San Diego is the perfect storm to do this amazing balancing act of Pete’s once again. Go Seahawks.
Denver Broncos -7’ 1st half ( -105) $1,200
I mentioned Defensive Passer Rating as a favorite tool of mine earlier in this thread. Now I want to mention Passer Rating Differential as my second favorite viewable stat.
Denver +28.9 vs Indy
Kansas City -66.3 vs Tennessee
Twisted= Denver +95.2
Those numbers alone pretty much predict the final box score of these two teams this week and I’m going to hammer the dogshit out of this line. There was a time when KC played Denver very tough. Not this week. It is not going to happen. It’s easy money honey and I am going to get me some.
Green Bay Packers -7 (-116) $ $600
Houston Texans -3 ( even) $200
Detroit Lions +2’ ( even ) $200
