Now all that I have to do is win.
Finding the answers to how I did that many seasons ago may never happen again but, the journey along the way is fascinating and that is what I live for. I am hooked, addicted, and 100% devoted to exploiting the NFL. I failed miserably the last two seasons and I sure hope that was just another piece of my education. I intend to change things up quite a bit this year. I am going to slow it way down and choose my spots very carefully. I don’t think it’s possible to turn it around any other way.
I am ready to rock and roll.

Detroit Lions -5’ $900
I am not too sure what else Detroit could have done to stack their offense any better headed into the 2014 season. The Lions and Stafford love to sling it all over the yard and I believe they are primed to do just that. Stafford has the eye of the tiger despite being a Lion and now with the additions of Golden Tate and Eric Ebron to compliment Calvin Johnson, Brandon Pettigrew and Reggie Bush, this offense appears to be a deadly force. Unless my eyes are deceiving me, I believe the Lions are one of the top four offenses to hit stride before the season has even started.
On the other side of the ball, the Lions defensive front seven is a pretty nasty bunch and I guarantee you that Eli has his concerns and rightfully so. Eli who still has not adjusted to the McAdoo way will be taking snaps from J.D. Walton, the fourth worst rated center in the league who has only started 4 games since 2011. There is a reason for that. Things don’t get much better for poor Eli when moving to both the West and the East on that offensive line. The giants are being forced to go with a rookie to the immediate West with Weston Richburg. The sun definitely is not shining to the immediate East with John Jerry getting the nod for right guard. That looks like a pretty shaky front three for old Eli. The plague of injuries has sunk its teeth into Eli’s offense and I intend to exploit just that. At no point has this offense even remotely begun to gel. They say that football games are won and lost in the trenches. I was taught that the importance of injuries starts with the Center and then works its way out. A weak front three causes pressure right up the middle which makes short yardage conversions much more difficult by taking away the inside run. Everything is forced out wide kind of like a lazy person’s ass. If there is one QB in the league that I can say gets flustered faster and harder from a lack of offensive line production due to pressure straight up the middle, it is Eli Manning. I like my chances here.
The giant’s secondary looks really solid with big names and it appears that they are trying to follow the blue print of Seattle. They have a long ways to go but you have to start somewhere. Go Reggie go. I think you will have a career day.
I am not really sure how a stumbling Giants offense is going to get it going at Ford Field in front of a very rowdy crowd. The Giants knocked the Lions out of playoff contention last year in week 16 and while the teams are a bit different, the fans are the same and they don’t forget the recent past. Motivation and revenge are two things that I was taught to keep in mind when trying to exploit the NFL and this game has it written all over it. Im loving my home field advantage here. Eli should get a real good view looking up to the rowdy Lions fans under the Monday night lights all night long. Go Lions.
