Seeing if there is anyone who has had success purchasing picks from sites such as DOCs, i am interested in purchasing a nfl/cfb package but first wanted to know if anyone has had success with a specific capper, just looking for some insight from some of you guys.

thanks

If you'd like to waster your money then go ahead. If you'd like to follow Kingdome Come in the NFL and make money then go ahead as well.

It depends on what your question is. Are you asking whether abandoning your own capping skills and just blindly tailing a professional is a good idea in general, or whether it's worth the fee to pay for a professional vs. capping games yourself/pro picks you can get for free on this very forum?

For the first part, if you find you aren't good enough to cap profitably(no problem with that), then why the heck not blindly tail? The bottom line is profit, with pride and pure enjoyment of capping close 2nd and 3rd. Many pros are profitable, which means you can be too. Over time, you can learn why these people made the picks they did, what trends they listen to, and one day maybe you can take the reigns again.

For the second part: Are pro picks worth the fee? Hell no. There are enough free cappers on these forums offering their services with consistent records over multiple years for you to tail, or there to offer their insights to you to improve your own capping skills.

See KingdomCome, ACE-ACE, MJ, Numberz(nba wiz).

It may help you to stick to 1-2 guys here and study their style. You will find that college is easier to find winners in. I would stick to the cappers who cover a specific area, like the WC guys capping WC games, GoSooners or SoonersBS doing Big 12, etc.

it can be good or it can be bad. as long as there is a solid track record and or analysis of the pick and why they are picking that team (for example a system play or trends etc) and as long as they arent charging too much. it is sometimes nice to let someone else crunch the numbers and do all the time with research and you give them $10 or so
