Hint to other managers...I've got a fairly up to date PC and cable feed and it's taken me not quite six or seven minutes to get the Draft open.

That as opposed to the Yahoo-style draft which opens in about a minute

So don't delay signing in...

Just got home and like my team so far, with a couple exceptions. No goalie yet and weak defense. Also too many centers. Looks like I'll have to be making some trades right away.

I like your team more than mine. Two great G's, a very strong foursome of defensemen, and some guys that could have huge years at forward. Ovechkin will obviously be great and score 40+ minimum for you and if you can get good years from guys like Arnott and Sharp you could easily win with that team. Kessel is also someone that could really breakout this year.

I actually really love my forwards, and my defense isn't too bad, but I just don't see how I will stay competitive with practically no goalie. Auld and two LA goalies won't cut it throughout the year, especially since Auld will only get half the starts, if that many.

I swear I read an article the same day saying there was a real good chance he could end up back on Detroit. May have been just bullshit talk from his agent though and Detroit just got under the cap today by sending some very good players to the minors today.
