Straight to business

Barman Jr (MOB) will be looking to trade up to three of the NINE centers autodraft stuffed on him

All nine are 100% Owned in ESPN leagues so clear value

Most likely type trade would be to swap one of the Cs picked in Rounds 11 or later in exchange for a legit Dman from maybe a couple rounds later

For example, his 11th round pick Center for a 12-13th round selected Dman

Helps him balance his roster while allowing you to modestly upgrade your own Forward pool

As he is an utter NHL novice, he will likely ask for review of trades by me and/or Vic..so if u want to be involved be patient with process

Ok....my OP being misread already as he is receiving offers for C Giroux that include four players drafted between rounds 12 -18

Come on guys....target Statsny, maybe the two guys from Colorado McKinnon, Duchene etc

Now Giroux could be had but it takes at least a 3rd rounder AND two more in top half of draft with multi-round upgrades each

Rookies are not subject to pity trading. Let him build his team on his own. It will feel better in the end should he win a playoff round.

cryin out loud, he gave the defending champs a good kick in her shins (though she did not even whimper) in Week One

Now just hoping to grab a couple categories from Vegas Vic who I have touted as the King of offense overkill, while I toil this week vs Adam who showed up on Monday with a box of dresses he hopes to shove up my butt at the end of the week

Here we go again....everything tightly wound as usual. Last year's league had all but two mgrs still in playoff contention after 20 weeks of 22.....I see the same coming this year

Oh shit, I didn't realize I was trading with a kid. Had no idea, and wasn't trying to fleece him (anymore than you of course try to get the better end of a trade).
Having said all that, the trade was for his #85 and #108 draft spots for my #89 and #137, but he wanted a goalie and defenceman, which he got, and I didn't really need another centre, so he paid a small premium. Obviously I'm no saint, and think I got the better deal or I wouldn't have made the trade, but I don't really think it was larceny or anything. Broadly speaking though, my team is pretty awesome and you should all fear me!
