Sunny, gonna need another one. The obvious..... pitcher for Cincy is a gas can since coming off the DL. Buckos left side batters hammering righties. Buckos BP an in-ground gas storage tank themselves. Cole 0-3 against Cincy this season, only team that has his number. I got more but I think you get the picture. I've been wrong more than once before, hell, I'm divorced, but I see ova rova all ova this one.

Don't know if any of you folks watch Cook's Country on PBS, but they just did some babyback pork ribs, corn cob smoked (which I will now have to try) and I'm doing backflips, cartwheels and somersaults dying for. I'd be all over it right now if I thought for a second I wouldn't blow one of my new gaskets. Damn it sucks to be me sometimes. OK, we got u FF Frisco, Padres, o Buckos/Reds, o Clev/Oak, Baltimore so far for the evening matinee. What else?

Never seen the show but you know i love a good set of ribs! What was the deal with the smoked corn? Sounds delish! When you get better and we get a chance to meet i would say some ribs will definitely be on the menu!

Put the corn or potatoes right in the smoker as well puff_>>

If you are going to smoke meat you may as well smoke everything else along with it that is possible!

It goes way back to the Indians (Sioux maybe) in South Dakota. Apparently the aroma is awesome and the cobs contribute moisture to the mix. All I can say is the damn ribs looked waaaaaaaaaaaaay too good, I about jumped into the big screen to get a taste, LOL. I've got a neighbor with a pear tree and he's given me a whole lot of it, so been smokin my pork with pear wood lately, unbelievable taste. But I gotta try this corn cob one time, I use a lot of roasted corn in a couple of the salsa recipes so have plenty of cobs on hand. Great show, after the first time I watched it, signed up for their on-line sub and get great recipes emailed to me each week.

I wouldn't say that. I have a Webber my ex and ex step son gave me for Father's day one year, I've smoked plenty in it. Salmon doesn't take long, and I love smoked salmon, do it all the time. You ever do beer can chicken? Good stuff, and I do that in the Weber. On that show today, they were using a Webber, so with the right tender loving care, it works fine.

I am a purist and use only kingsford and have the little smokey joe and full size webber. Not saying anything wrong but if i had the space and extra dough i would love to have a full on smoker. Kind of like those green eggs

LOL, I'll send ya a pic of my "drag-along." Had a machine shop in Collinsville, burb of Tulsa, I used exclusively for building all my skids, and had them build me a stainless unit on wheels. Pull it with my truck if I go to a BBQ cook-off. Damn thing of beauty, although my ex hated it since hitching it up meant 1) road trip, and 2) DRUNK, LOL.

Like roasting those veggies Murph, good for ya. Got me a bunch of those stainless perforated roasting pans, shake the cut up veggies in some olive oil, season with your favorite seasoning (mine happens to be Tony Chachere's although I also make my own mix), put on the grill, crack a cold one, then another, maybe a third, and the veggies be done. Red onion, red potatoes, snap green beans, maybe some squash, mushrooms......I gotta stop, this is killin me.

I'm at the "ranch" right now, I try and get away from the weekend zoo where the condo is located Friday night through Sunday. I'm sitting here looking at the smoker, and I'm salivating something badass. Got a relative get-together tomorrow, I'm passing because of current issues, but I'm sending my mother to it bearing gifts..... some great salsa and some really good pull-pork I'm smoking in the morning. All the while, I'll be tube feeding. I'm gonna strangle a doctor before this is all said and done.

Slappy's got u FF in that game BB. Don't know if 5 Ho's will let me put both in the same par. You got a back-up? Folks, gotta have either under or Cards -1 in that game, I'd buy it to 7+, but kinda like the Cards -1.

I AM GOING TO ASSUME, which is ALWAYS a bad thing, that your most desired play is the Metropolitans. Did you by chance look at the total in that game? Just asking, I could see low scoring FF. Cards -1 gotta be in, I can always shoot myself later. We'll leave the Sox in the hamper.
