Maybe fading the public works in baseball like it does in hoops and foots, but baseball is about pitching matchups. Kendrick has pitched very well vs ATL. Lowe has struggled vs PHIL. Does that mean that my Philly ticket cashes? NO.

I just don't believe baseball can bet based on fading, without taking into account pitching matchups and lineups. Players are rested that are key to a lineup, too many factors, just to go against Joe Public imo.

Also, ESPN Beat the streak, 70% on ATL, so i don't know where people are getting ATL as the dog here?

i think it works in certain situations like I said in that other thread.... how do you think the books win? ...this O/U was 9 +110 for the under at 5dimes. straight up stealing all that juice you had to lay for the over... 60% is a heavy lean imo for this over...one pitcher struggles in the daytime...and the other pitcher struggles against the Phillies...so people think the over is the play...but in actuality.. the Phillies can't hit right now and Kendrick is pitching well his last few games and does well against the braves....so the under was the play.
