Hey guys, just wondering where you can find info on what the public is playing on. Have seen several post in the past with people saying that the public is say 78% on so and so.

Any ideas where?

Thanks

wagerline is probably one of them but realize 95% of the players probably don't even bet and the lines are never right.

j-dog makes a good point about the 'monopoly' money part of wagerline.

I just recently signed up for a service that provides real-time info on wagering statistics from some of the major offshore books -- not convince yet it is any good and was pretty cheap, so I gave it a try -- intersting to note that 90% of the public was on M. Tenn St. last night..

Anyway, if you want to send me an email I would be happy to send you the site name and my password -- what the fu*k are they going to do, they only got $9 from me.

five, yup thats it - my initial impression is that your rihgt and I am seriously questioning how much data they really have -- but wanted to see for myself...Personally I think it is a great idea and they do have some of the bigger books -- if you monitor within an hour before tipoff I think you can get some good information, but as for overnights and hours before they are pretty lame -- I will say this though, their stats showed exactly what you said about fades last night...Midd Tenn, App St. and UW/Zona total...

if you really have total disipline ,you can really do quite well. using wagerline ,insight, rx ,ogd, cappermall . look for all the above lined up on one game and just go against you would be rich.
i just cant wait that long plus i like to bet of my own numbers but quite honestly i get caught more than not.
if you have good disipline try and find those 6 or 7 aweek that are just gold gold.
saturday should provide 2 easy upset winners that you can find. would like to find 2 or 3 guys on aol for messaging purposes to find these games on lager card days. if someone is interested in trying this out lmk
actually it does work i've done it manys of times. its those games where you stay away that get you

public? look in the mirror. you, me we are all the public. as much as one likes to think they are not, they are really are. only a few can lay claim to not being called such. i mean what separates us here at the rx that we are not apart of the this so called "public"? we are. remember, the books like balance. the public does not move #'s. a group of sharps move the # one way only to be moved back by another group. but then again what real makes one "sharp"? billy walters, i guess but he uses a team of handicappers and a computer program. i mean how much time can he really spend capping when he is building a golf course every other week? i think of a "sharp" as someone who does all on his own. finds his own info, through contacts, reviews the stats and #'s etc and then makes his bet. and wins at it. just my opinion

i agree cadilac.
but we can sometimes limit the following of being totally public. i feel larger schools have more public plays than of smaller schools. so sometimes after i try and run my own numbers on matchups and it's nowhere close to linemakers i try and look at every other angle.
including how many of us are on the play, any consencious like wagerline and all forums. these games really only come maybe 5 aweek sometimes more some less but you get the idea

Hey Five, thanks again for that site. 2 games that the "public" were heavy on were the Pistons and the Hornets at 83 and 84% and both didnt cover. Will continue to watch and chart and hopefully jump on a few of them to beat the man.
