Whatever. The current system is absurd.

5 teams have yet to be beaten, and 3 are them are going to be eliminated by a computer. That's ludicrous.

College football has had this system (more or less) since 1936. This system of polls, computers, etc.

AP poll started in 1936. UPI (coaches poll) started in 1950.

Not every undefeated team has been recognized as National Champion.

I'm not saying the BCS is perfect. But I honestly can't understand...when did football become so damn important?

I'm sure somebody's team was screwed in 1952, but that doesn't mean Congress scheduled hearings & investigations.

With all the wrongs in the world, it is almost comical that so many people have decided to make BCS reformation their main cause.

If TCU played in the SEC this year they wouldn't have a team left right now - they couldn't take the brutality of the schedule. There's a big difference between winning one game against a great team and winning them week after week after week. They'd have 3rd stringers playing and be forfeiting games.:lolBIG:

TCU could run the table with Alabama's schedule. Not saying they would... but it's definitely possible.

NCAA Made A BIG MISTAKE...

By letting TCU and Boise play each other...

I don't care about invitations and whatnot, but each of these schools should be playing somebody in a power conference to show that they belong in the rankings....

By going against each other, you will have your doubters sa that they are playing each other to see who is the best outside the major conferences..Boise should have been matched up against a USC and TCU could have been given an SEC opponent like Florida or Tennessee...

This sucks and only a playoff scenario would solve everything...some of these Bowl matchups really suck and there are way too many Bowls....:drink:
