IMO Interest on a loan isn't so bad, it's the insurance crooks that get ya.
Sublime already went over the financials. I would just add, where do you see inflation going in the next few years? If you believe it's going up, I think a loan makes sense. If you think it will remain in check, I think paying upfront makes sense.
