*PROOF* to why Kobe is not shooting free throws
When plays like this are not even called a foul!
Is this legal???? FYI, not foul was called on that play.
This series is an absolute joke and being controlled by the officials and unfortunate injuries to the Lakers. Injuries are part of the game (T-Wolves and every opponent the Pistons have faced) but officiating should go both ways.
From another site.......
Kobe's free throws throughout the playoffs:
1st Round (5 games):
40-44
Semifinals (6 games):
30-41
Conference Finals (6 games):
42-56
Finals (4 games so far):
13-14
--------------------------------------------
Kobe has taken 92 shots in this FOUR GAME series and only 14 free throws
--------------------------------------------
Chauncey Billups has taken 52 shots in this FOUR GAME series and 34 free throws
--------------------------------------------
Kobe's stats for the 2 regular season games against Detroit 25 shots and 15 free throws.
--------------------------------------------
In the last 3 games Tayshaun Prince has played 132 minutes guarding Kobe and only has 4 total fouls (and I have watched him cry about every single one of them to the referees)
---------------------------------------------
Looking at those above stats can you tell me if anything would be different?
I know there has to be some intelligent posters in this forum who can see what is happening in this series.
One more thing. PRINCE had better be MVP of the Finals if he is able to guard Kobe and possibly never send him to the free throw line in a 2 game stretch in Detroit.
Prince's numbers are better than Artest and Bruce Bowen and Pippen could have ever ever ever achieved... Seems like a very interesting story to me... But I am sure that Prince is superior to all of the players I mentioned above.
After Laker fans get their blood pressure back under control and Pistons supporters can stop laughing after realizing they are getting a championship ring handed to them, you can see how some of the numbers in my post are absolutely obscene.
