I will not mention who, but the best BJ player in the world is a poster here at the RX.

Aside from counting good BJ play starts with strong basic stradegy. I have seen players at roulette tables with charts and pads etc. Is it within the rules in Las Vegas to use a copy of a basic stradegy at a blackjack table in plain sight?

i swear i laugh at these losers in a casino who write down all the numbers on roulette after each spin, thinking that the last 28 spins have something to do with what will happen next.. When will these people learn that nothing evens out after 28 spins or even 100 spins, and that it all evens out over millions and millions of spins. These dummies get on my nerves in these casinos when they keep track of each spin by writing them down. You can sit there and tell them all you want, they just never listen..

sicko,

it is the same with people who think a bad player at a BJ game affects their chance of winning or losing...

In the long haul it has ZERO to do with it...but people will argue to the death & even threaten violence if people play incorrectly...

sports, you are so absolutely correct. I also laugh at people that say that the chinaman at the end of the table who hit on 14 vs the 4 cost him money.. that is so much crap, it's not funny. And how about when that guy hits and everyone swears at him, then the whole table wins instead of loses, and the dealer busts instead of hitting 21. And this happens 4 straight times.. Do they get mad at him? Hell no!!! What that player does has NO effect on the hands.. it all evens out at the end. As long as you play your hands right, that's all that counts.. It don't matter what that guy sitting in the anchor seat does..

SS - yes I did live in Vegas for a long time and played plenty of blackjack. I never witnessed anyone play with a basic stradegy chart, just wondering if anyone knew whether or not it is allowed.
