Giants won't make it unless they makes some moves to get some good starters. Maybe they can come up with something to get the Big Unit, that might be their ticket. Or they figure out how to get Schmidt pitching on one days rest. Not to mention Herges is not the answer in the pen, at least not in my book or judging by the .315 opponents are batting against him. They are going to be a factor, but they just don't look like a made for postseason team to me. They would have to get a good matchup like the Phils and Cards to get to the WS because teams like the Marlins and Cubs have too much pitching depth for them to overcome without more help.

At this point, you are right. I just think they can win division. Will work from there. Just like my NBA TWolfs and Spurs, I am not afraid to bail for a profit. There is a method to my madness...Best Wishes...OF

Rays to win AL East is best Future out there (100 to 1).

Sure they have to get 10 games on Yankees, and also pass RedSox, but these odds are same as Rays To Win entire American League, which would allow for a 2nd place finish but also require winning two playoff rounds.

It's going to take continued push from Rays to hit the halfway point at 42-39. 8-4 from today does that.

Then they have to hit 53-28, and frankly beat the Yankees 2of3 head to head in remaining games.

That's why it's a longshot, but at 100 to 1, the best such longshot going as of today.

Exactly Barman, I am glad someone is figuring this out. There are some prices out there, very long odds. It is very difficult to determine value on these type of bets, but if you determine, what true odds should be, or relatively close, I think you recognise the overlay. And by varying my bets on these overlays I am using what gambling method??? Best Wishes...OF

I am a Red Sox fan and I love the D-RAYS.

However, the DRAYs to win the AL EAST at 100-1 is not an overlay IMO.

It should have been 1000-1. Good catch. I was more or less refering to the world series 2500-1 and in that area. Does anyone in this so called gambling forum know what I am doing? Best Wishes...OF

I am an absolute diehard Giants fan. Have been since they arrived in SF when I was a little leaguer. Been waiting all these years for them to win the World Series and they broke my heart two years ago against the Angels and last year's debacle against the Marlins.

That being said, obviously love the way they are playing, particularly their current hitting, but their rotation, although currently holding their own, is not yet deep enough to match-up with some of the better rotations. Magowan has already stated that they will be looking for another starter but are not willing to give up their young arms like they did last year for Ponson. Here's hoping they can find a quality starter. Not sure Herges will hold up as the closer either. Like Worrell, he's a grinder, but in the playoffs, that's just not good enough.

Got the Giants at 50/1 recently after they started getting hot. I really doubt that I will be hedging that bet because I still don't think there all that good. They might win Division though. I think I have at least half the teams in Basebal bet to win W/S

Best value out there. 25% ROI.

A possible 25% ROI, with over a 3 month hold. Bout 7% a month. I agree, likely to cash, but not a lock by any means, so hard to say best value out there, plus the hold. Best Wishes...OF
