I think it's perfectly clear...
Mayor Pete Buttigieg endorsed impeaching Donald Trump, saying that Democrats had “no choice”
but to move forward.
“The president has left the Congress with no choice,” he said during the CNN debate on Tuesday night.
Democrat presidential hopeful and billionaire
Tom Steyer claimed Tuesday night during the Democrat
presidential debate at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio, that “American people are demanding”
the impeachment of President Donald Trump.
“Every candidate here is more decent, more coherent, and more patriotic than the criminal in the White
House,” Steyer said. “Anderson’s right. Two years ago, I started the ‘Need to Impeach’ movement because
I knew there was something desperately wrong at 1600 Pennysylvania Avenue.”
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) said on Tuesday at the Democrat debate in Ohio that the House of Representatives
has no choice but to impeach President Donald Trump.
“Do Democrats have any choice but to impeach President Trump?” Anderson Cooper asked Bernie Sanders.
“No we don’t,” Sanders said. “In my judgment, Trump is the most corrupt president in the history of this
country.”
ANDERSON COOPER: Senator Klobuchar, what do you say to those who fear that impeachment is a distraction
from issues that impact people’s day to day lives like health care and the economy. Can it backfire on
Democrats?
SEN. AMY KLOBUCHAR: We can do two things at once. That’s our job. We have a constitutional duty to do
this impeachment, but we also can stand up for America because this president has not been putting America
in front of his own personal interests.
So there you have it. The candidates have spoken. It's a shame their opinions are meaningless.
During a press conference on Tuesday,
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) announced that the House of
Representatives will not be voting to formalize an impeachment inquiry right now.
Pelosi said, “There’s no requirement that we have a vote, and so, at this time, we will not be having a vote.”
