1. separate representation for husband and wife
2. attach full and complete written disclosure of assets and liabilities

Prenups = Rent a spouse

Maybe, but if one party is wealthy, and the other is not, it makes sense to me. Like that recent case with the NBA player/ cheerleader. Why the hell should you marry somebody with no money, when you're rich ? Shit, just date whoever you want ! I don't care if you're 60 and 380 lbs, you can date 10's.....if you have millions. Then get a pre-nup if you marry, as the relationship is all based on $$$$, anyway.

Never going to sign one. Never want my would-be wife to sign one either.

Seinfeld-good show; but I wouldn't follow any legal advise from it.

For me, it's like an updated version of All in the Family ( my former favorite show).

Both touch on issues of the times they were in.

Before Family, you had goofy shows like Lucy, Gilligan's Island, etc. ( with great ratings).

I like a little more substance.

I agree it is not proper for 99% of people out there, and should not be routine by any means.

However I can see it if one party is extremely wealthy and the other is not.

But, yes it does make the deal ( marriage) seem to be planned to fail in the future.

Youth is bliss.

If you don't think the woman you are pledging to spend the rest of your life with is going to stick around then you shouldn't be marrying her.

Unless the woman is pregnant--why get married-so why a prenup in this day and age?

So knocking up a woman ( by accident....rubber broke or something), is a reason to get married ?

Getting married because of some unplanned pregnancy, seems pretty stupid to me !

Get or sign a pre-nup, to protect the wealthy partner.

Did these even exist 50 years ago ?

If the woman gets preg by a wealthy man, and hasn't signed a pre-nup---Hey she got wealthy. Don't sign one!
That is If she demands to HAVE the child! (my point here)
