Predicted Finish for NFC East 2014

I 100% wholeheartedly, disagree.

I am not a fan of any of these teams, but the only team who made themselves worse this offseason was Dallas.

Some times off season moves or lack thereof can surprise you when the season comes. Dallas is one of those teams that no one is thinking about and that's exactly what they needed. Giants very mediocre, Philly in for their reality check and Washington...... well they're just Washington.

I think too much being made about the losses. What was Miles Austin doing for the Cowboys seriously? Ware's sack totals have declined year over year for the last three to a career low of 6 in 2013. Not a fit for the system they have committed to. Time to move on.

Well you can't blame the Cowboys for that one. I am pretty sure they know how to play football games without Sean Lee at this point. They've had plenty of practice.

I think the point is that the Cowboys had a terrible defense last year and have lost their best players from that defense. Bruce Carter and Brandon Carr are good. Other than that, there is not an above average player on the defense and Melton may be the only one of the other 9 starters who can be classified as league average. I have no idea how dallas will pressure the QB, and if they can't get pressure their secondary will get torched. Exactly the way it happened last season.

Last year was a new scheme. That was much of the struggle. Players more comfortable this year, coaches know more of what to expect from each player within that scheme and can better allocate personnel and game plan. I.E. Ware did not fit in, Claiborne not a fit.

I can understand why Dallas parted ways with Demarcus Ware, but hopeful that Ware will have a re-birth in Denver. Elway has said that he likes to take a chance on future Hall of Fame players with a chip in their shoulders - and in Elway we trust.

that Dallas Cowboys defense is pathetic. They are a sieve. Total yds and points against could yield to many more over plays. You say new scheme and personnel didn't take to it last year. I say they are lacking in defensive personnel on that side of the ball no matter what scheme is employed. They better hope Romo and company light up the scoreboard because they'll need to. Like I said though, conference on a whole nothing special so anything possible...

Many casual fans fail to take account of the connection between offense and defense. A lot of times, poor defensive performance can be linked to what the offense does. Dallas refused to run the ball last year and that put their defense in a bad spot. I am banking on them learning that lesson and realizing that DeMarco Murray is someone they can rely on. That and the players on defense should be more comfortable their 2nd year in the system.

Sorry, still doesn't make sense. Dallas had the 5th best offense in the league last year according to profootball focus. This defense is worse than last year and have not completely scrapped the kiffin system as he's still on the staff. The oline is going to be good and give people problems but they will not stop anyone.
