Can you really make money betting pre season football?
Any thoughts

Absolutely.

Two most important steps:

1) Figure out which players are competing for a starting spot. Those guys are likely to play at 100%. The more guys going full steam ahead, the better the team will play.

2) Figure out the QB rotations. These are usually available my searching local newspapers. Figure out which guys are playing what quarters.

Those two steps alone should win you money in the preseason.

Step #3 would be listen to what the coaches have to say and see how likely they are to keep their offense vanilla or how likely they are to open the playbook and let their competing guys go a little harder.

Here's a link from last year about how coaches do in the preseason and which games they win/put emphasis on winning. It's from last year though so some coaches have been canned or moved elsewhere. It should help.

Thanks Jake and BAS
I just find it so difficult to even watch those games.
I have never bet on pre season before. Maybe I will this year
