PRE-New Year's Day Bowl System

So I’d like to share a PRE-NEW YEARS DAY Bowl System that Ipicked up right here on the RX a few years ago.
You must be willing to double up on a wager if you lose. Iknow this scares a lot of guys away but if you can tough it out, you will bewell ahead by New Years!
So if an average play for you is 5 units (i.e. $50) here’swhat you want to do:
1) Play the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] half OVER the total for 5units – if you win STOP – You are up 5 units
2) If the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] half goes Under – play the OVERthe total in the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] half for 10 units

• New Mexico game – 1[SUP]st[/SUP] half total was26 but only 16 were scored – 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] half total was 25 and 27 pointswere scored – WINNER +4.5 UNITS
• Houston game – 1[SUP]st[/SUP] half total was 26but again only 16 were scored – 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] half total was 23 and 28 werescored – WINNER +4.5 UNITS
• Toledo game – 1[SUP]st[/SUP] half total was 30but only 28 were scored – 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] half total was 30 and 31 points werescored – WINNER +4.5 UNITS
• Southern Miss game – 1[SUP]st[/SUP] half totalwas 27 points and 28 were scored – WINNER+5 UNITS
• Arkansas State game – 1[SUP]st[/SUP] half totalwas 24 and 27 points were scored – WINNER+5 UNITS

Ok, just to clarify for this dummy here (me), bet under or over 34.5 in the 1H? Then, if you lose in the 1H, do what in the 2H?

Ok, so it seems like everyone is remembering that it should be bet UNDER the 1H and if that loses bet OVER the 2H?

wow. I have never played the system as it has tailed off the last couple of years.
but a few years ago, it was fire.

and it was play 1H under...and then double up on the 2H under if 1H went over. quit if 1H wins.

or was that the round of 64 bb tourney?

My bets are 1U, but that is meaningless. I did bet 1U on the 1H o34 1/2 and now have bet 2U o31 on the 2H.

But what is the confusion that the other posters are saying it should be unders? I would really appreciate a clarification from everyone if you don't mind.

The CORRECT system is to play the 1st half under the total, if it covers, quit, you have a winner, if it does not cover double up your wager for the 2nd half to go under, this system is for games before the new years games, played this sytem for many years & has proven to be a winner gl!

stillgotit, I have no problem if it as you have laid out... as you said it did work out the first in the first 5 games. I was just really wanting to understand the system. I don't bet massive amounts of money -- just entertainment betting. I just wanted the real scoop and the others seemed to be indicating the opposite of you.

I will provide a very obvious observation... the Chips are playing like chips of crap -- LOL

stillgotit, there is also another way to look at your results for those first 5 games. If you bet under as the other posters have stated. You would have won the UNM, Hou and Tol games in the 1H. In the UCF and ULL games, betting under in the 1H would have been losers but I don't know if doubling up on the under in the 2H would have been a winner or loser.

Does anyone know what the 2H totals were for the UCF and ULL games?
