It is a extremely low number ticket but maybe obscurity could be an angle to approach this time around. Should we just quick pick the PB number? just to simplify.. whatever the lumpsum aftertax payout is lets do 75% the guy out of state and 25% the guy who buys the ticket in the state.
once again I can buy an ohio or mich ticket very easily.
forget the 50mill thing but I think it would end up there pretty close if there is one winner anyway after tax and lump sum amount.

If we play two tickets on the reverse location theory, and the ticket I buy in SC hits two numbers which does not get you in the money, but the ticket with power play you buy in Ohio hits 3 and the PB for say over $200 do we split the $200 plus or does the person in state just keep the cash? These kinds of examples worry me most. I am inclined to say yes go ahead tomorrow morning and buy an Ohio $3 Power Play Quick Pick and tomorrow morning I will buy a $3 Power Play Quick Pick and we can iron out details as cirmcumstances present themselves. Or buy one each an Ohio and Michigan $3 Power Play Quick Pick and I will buy two $3 Power Play Quicks Picks for a grand total of $6 each for our experiment. Your call.
i was only meaning for the jackpot and didnt plan to buy the 1$ extra powerplay.. but sure if i hit for 1 million with all 5 white I would throw u something.
hmm the rest of the payouts for 100/etc complicate things quite a bit.. i think we should focus on jackpot or the 1 mill only.

I think we should powerplay for the extra dollar in the event of hitting 4 plus numbers with PB which will end up in some serious coin for us both. 5 white balls correct with PP is $2 million compared to $1 million without. Would hate to have some kind of freaky luck and be thinking damn I wished we whould have bought the multipler. I agree other examples do muddy the water so we will focus on the big prizes. The store I get tickets at usually will give me a quick pick with a decent set of numbers. I have gotten rotten quick picks at other stores but this one usually will have an even distrubution of numbers.
ok 3$ / 2 tickets - i will do the 75%*out of state* - 25%*in-state on the big jackpot prize and the 2 mill we split 50-50 (after tax/etc) and same with the 4 white 1 red = 40k (quadruple 10k with the powerplay) we would split 50-50
any other prize is kept by the ticket holder, not the out of state.
if u agree then I agree and I will get one Mich and One OH if that is the way u want it.
I will take 1 quick pick at any of the rotten stores and 1 from the decent one u like.. that way if rotten hits we dont miss out as honestly anything is possible.

Likewise if I hit Jackpot on one of my personal ticket(s), Murph will get $1 million on our Gentleman's Agreement. I agree to 75/25 out state in state on the grandaddy prize and 50/50 anything under $2 million. Agree to smaller prizes being kept by ticket holder for time trouble and legwork. Tomorrow morning if possible with your schedule before lunch you buy one each Ohio and Michigan $3 Power Play Quick Picks and I will buy two $3 Power Play Quick Picks. One from the usually good numbers store and one from the usually bad numbers store if that is the way you feel we should do it. The Quick Pick Ticket Numbers will be posted in this thread around lunch tomorrow. This way we have $12 invested and have 4 Power Play Tickets ready for action. 4 shots at the money trying the reverse location theory for just over $10 bucks. That is not bad from my chair.
