For all you stinky Ticos that dont get out much, here is a story to make you feel better about yourselves(originally posted in the RR). IMO its just another case of the Mexi trying to keep the white man down.

Was out making "the loop" today since there was nothing better to do, and spotted a nice little apartment close to the office. Put the joint out made a phone call and set up an apointment with the lady. I was a little baked when we met up but my eyes werent too F'd up. Went in and it was almost everything I was looking for except for a few minor details that I could overlook since the apartment was borderline nice and cheap as hell. I told her that I really liked the apartment and she said great she will call me, I said I have the money right now I really like this apartment she said she would call me. How should I take this?

HE will get some wine, light some candles and then ask you to come over to "discuss" some details regarding the "apartment"
get drunk (or stoned), relax and go with the flow, you love the joint anyway, right?
i'm sure the wife will understand you are doing this so you can both get the place.

Why dont you pack your bags son, I happen to like it here so I think I will stay. Fortnately for I dont measure my success by the same standards that you do, and have been successful lived in many places that you will only see by typing its name into Google. Keep on hating son, I live where and how I want and am approximately 16.35 X cooler than you are.

i can show you my passport...ive been to a few places befores...(and its much cooler to say you are costarican...having a US Passport nowdays is OUT..been under the hate radar in every country is not cool either)been a nomad is not cool at all trust me... it only shows your difficulty to adapt...

besides your birth certificate how many certificates do you have (academically speaking)??..16.35X cooler.. right....just like a polar bears finger nail.......

Im happily married to the girl of my dreams and have been to about 80% of the places that I have wanted to see, and even lived at a few of them for extended periods of time. I heard that your passport and titulos can score you a killer job as a construction worker in NJ.
