Guys many of you know that I am a religious smoker of the good green. I learned how to make pot brownies from a friend of mine who is a real hippie type from Santa Cruz, CA.

It's all about the GREEN BUTTER gang, and you can use the butter in any recipe that you want.

If your recipe calls for one stick of butter, then go ahead and place two sticks of butter in the pan and turn your heat on low.

Cut up the green finely and add it to the butter.

Let this sautee on LOW heat for 3-4 hours, the longer the better...I usually keep it going for about 4 hours.

Now take a very fine strainer and pour the pot/butter mixture into a plastic or glass container that you wish to store your green butter in.

As you strain it, use something to "press" the green into the strainer--this will get all of the liquid butter out. You are just trying to get all the butter out.

You can throw away the grass at this point since all or most of the fat soluble THC is now residing in the butter.

You can stick your green butter in the fridge and in a few hours you will see that you have hardened green butter.

You can use it on toast, dinner rolls or for cookies, brownies, etc...

Don't forget (who me forget?? lol) that if you are making the butter for a particular recipe, you will want to start off with 2x the amount of butter that the recipe calls for. When you make your dish, just measure out the actual amount of green butter that is required. You see, some of the butter will evaporate while you are sauteeing.

I copy/pasted the following recipe from a poster here in the good ol' Rx. Thing is I forgot who posted the beauty; but these are mighty funny brownies. Here it goes:

brownie recipe

brownie recipe for those who like getting high but don't like the fact it wears off in 3 to 4 hours.

you need:
1 pressure cooker
1/2 oz pot
2 sticks butter
1 qt water ( used bottled )
put it in the pressure cooker and cook until steam comes out or 30 minutes.
use a spagetti strainer to pour contents through saving liquid.
wring out pot into liquid.
disgard pot.
in a glass bowl with a large circumference pour liquid.
put in freezer until hardens.
scrape hard "butter" from the top and toss away water.
melt "butter" and use that as your liquid in standard brownie mix ( don't use kind with chocolate chips, they'll seem like pieces of concrete when you're eating them cuz you'll be so stoned )
eat only 1 2x2 brownie
wait 2-3 hours and it'll hit. DO NOT EAT MORE CUZ YOU DON'T FEEL ANYTHING. takes time to digest but will do you in.

My recipe from years ago:

1.one dozen brownies (set aside for later)

2.six-pack of favorite malt beverage

3.Pink Floyd album ("Dark side of the moon" or "The wall")

4.Good company (preferably trimmed)

5.Reliable connection

6.Enjoy brownies when you get around to it

What the lay person does not understand about ingesting the green is that THC is NOT WATER SOLUBLE. Its ONLY fat soluble. Anytime you see an idiot make 'tea' out of weed, you can laugh at them. Its nothing but a waste of $$. THC is what gets you stoned and in order to extract this substance you need to do so via a fatty vehicle, ie butter, oil, etc. Bon Appetit.

(NOT WATER SOLUBLE),Some people only have to believe they are stoned to be stoned. That explains the Green Tea drinkers.
