philly is the right play or its no play. cant see how anyone can justify backing cardinals vs the best team in baseball

not with Edwin Jackson, Cards backs are up against the wall, and are goin to throw the kitchen sink tonight. But Larussa's an idiot and will make some bad decisions tonight.

as for the cards "hammering" oswalt this year

Oswalt has pitched 3 games vs. Stlouis. Oswalt is 1-1 pitched 14 innings giving up 17 hits 1 HR 5 ER 1 BB and 11 K's. being a 3.21 ERA

Not exactly lighting him up.

And those stats include the 2 inning 4 ER performance where he was injured. I think you gotta throw that one out. He obviously wasn't right that day. He's been great as of late

Juice Play

Milwaukee -105 -- Cant help it, Milwaukee has the better sticks, Wolf has been pitching great all season, just have had a few bumps in the road lately. Joe Saunders is actually decent on the road but not so much at home. Saunders numbers vs. Milwaukee 2 games // NO wins // 12.2 IP // 11 hits // 8 ER // 3 HR // 5 BB // 5 K's // with a 5.68 ERA (to win 3 units)

Thanks for the picks Rodgers. I'm with on all of them. Actually thinking to make the Phillies TT Over a 2units play.

Rodgers, I like all of them for today man. Lets have a day! Go Phils!

lets cash'm. We get the better pitchers and better sticks in both games, whats not to like about that, at a very good number. not to mention better managers too.

only thing that is pointing to take the other way is, both teams backs against the wall needing to win at home where the crowds are going to be rowdy.

I see oswalt stepping up to the plate, hes the kind of guy who rises in big situations. jackson on the other hand, i can see him getting hit early and often. Bats come alive today. STL playing with their backs up against the wall at home, all the pressure is on them.

Let's hope Howard has a big day after a bad day yesterday against a lefty. His splits against Lefties/Righties are pretty dramatic with an OPS of .634/.921. Jackson's OPS against Lefty/Righty batters is .800/.736, so you'd expect Howard to have a big day. Oswalt's are .701/.767. To me, this is a clear pitching edge with Oswalt. I am adding to my Phillies bet. First large play of the post season for me!
