Currently we have 14 books, and they fit perfectly with screen resolutions of 1024X768 (and higher). This resolution is generally used for monitors with a display of 17"+.

However, we have to scroll to see all the books if we use 800X600 resolution. (standard for 15" and under monitors).

Could everyone please indicate their preference to have 1 page or 2 pages?

Also, please list :
1. your monitor size
2. resolution

Thanks

My vote is 1 page. I was disappointed with that change. I understand the logic but it is just the same work for someone with a small monitor to scroll as it is to click 'page-2' ...why should everone have to work for it?

Eh,
I think that would be an awesome feature, but it would be several several months (min) before we are to that stage.

I firmly believe we need a fast/secure/robust (all those over-used CTO words

) commercial database for that to occur. We would probably need to add a second server to handle load-balancing for the app server (the piece that does the work).

In lamens terms - we have to take a page out of GWB's book and increase spending around this joint

... lol. The high end commercial databases run anywhere from low 5 figures to mid 5 figures per CPU, so it would be a considerable investment to make.

I'm honestly not sure what the plans are, but Marty and others have told me that they want to drastically improve the technology at the RX.

Thanks very much for all your feedback.

The results are overwhelming that, indeed, I am an asshole and even more important - the lines should be on 1 page.

I'll get on these soon.

Thanks again
