It amazes me how some posters are worth their weight in GOLD, because of the quality of posts that they make...

However, there are a number of people out there who REALLY have this inflated sense of who they are and what they are worth...

Take me for example, lol...

I have always gotten a kick out of observing the forums and taking notice on behavior patterns...

Over the years, many of the names have changed but the overall screen play (pun intended) has not...

TRUE OR FALSE?

The forums are only as good as their worst poster...

FALSE

If that was the case alll the forums would be totally useless. They are only mostly useless.

I am guessing this is your suttle way of telling De Niro to not let the door hit him on the way out and you are not really worth much.

you have to sort through some garbage sometimes to find some decent info-but that is the way it is everywhere in life not just here.

Evaluating the behavioral patterns of posters is something I have studied in recent months (specifically in the cbk room). It is a strange trend, the ideology of so many, but very Interesting. I love the opportunity to study this. I am a study myself.

General,

I hope this is an attempt to jump in front of the bullet and lighten up this thread because quite frankly you're scaring us.

Not sure what you mean, but rest assured this is more than an adventure for me.

Egos are alot of unique issues. If a moderator is not studying his fellow posters, he is disadvantaged when it comes to performance.

He`s just breaking down the moderator position..I have seen this guy at seminars for moderators across the country and sometimes he just baffles me...I have no idea what he`s saying sometimes but rest assured it has been well thought out, one time he spent four hours trying to figure out how to tell a poster how sorry he was for accidently banning him (no one knew how it happened) but The General lost sleep over it!!!

...The General takes his job very serious...

To the General its a way of life...the guy was born to moderate something, he found his something..

As long as he doesnt show up at my house to see if I put in sugar or cream first in my coffee and which hand I use to wipe my ass.

Otherwise his astuteness probably makes for a good handicapper.

Good, bad, or ugly...

This is fact. I am not here to show off my prize bull. I am not here for a ribbon. I am here to do my best at being a good poster/moderator & assist when I can. When this is all over or I am not good enough anylonger, then I'm going to see a movie.
