rankings as they should be in the polls:

1. penn state
2. texas
3. alabama
4. florida
5. oklahoma

ratings as far as the 5 best teams as i see them:

1. usc
2. oklahoma
3. florida
4. penn state
5. georgia

why oklahoma allowed momentum to swing in that game with the unnecessary 4th down call is beyond me. they were doing whatever they wanted up to that point. sooners still better than texas. trojans still the best team in college football ... but you dont just climb back into the top 5 in the rankings that quickly after losing as a 20+ point chalk. florida just keeps getting better by the week and meyer is what stoops and tressel used to be - the nations best big game coach.

This is who I think the top 5 teams are, NOT who I think should be top 5 in the polls come Monday.

Meanwhile, the Coaches poll looks quite a bit different than the AP after the #3 spot:

I just started a dynasty on NCAA '09 and simulated through week 7, here is your REAL top 5!!!

1. USC
2. Georgia
3. Oklahoma
4. LSU
5. Missouri

USC is in good shape to run the table, the Georgia-LSU game looks to be HUGE at this point. Oklahoma just snuck by Texas to remain undefeated so they are in great shape as well.

I've already stated over and over again I think Ohio St will beat Penn St by at least a TD. I said above my top 5 wasn't based on performance this year or Penn St would have to be there, it was based on who I think are actually the 5 best teams in college football, and imo Ohio St is right there. Every week Pryor matures more and more and he will be ready for Penn St. Not sure Penn St will be ready for him though.
