Here is my take for some of the games tonight:

This is an intriguing game for several reasons. For starters, Philly, who has been showing improving play comes off back to back losses to the Nets (who had revenge) and of course, in the thriller last second loss to Boston who defeated them by 1 while the Sixers hung inside the number for the cover. Roughly 61% of the public favors Philly here and why not – they have revenge from a 1 point loss they suffered to the hands of the Pacers at home. What makes that loss even more striking is that the Pacers played that game without Granger or Dunleavy and still managed to win Outright as 10.5 dogs. This just goes to show that there truly is some weight to the theory of betting on a team who's star player is out. For example, take Jameer Nelson of the Magic yesterday and the Magic rallied for a huge ATS cover or take the Atlanta Hawks yesterday without Joe Johnson as this team got it done over the hot Timberwolves. Indiana too is not in a good mood coming off back to back losses to the Knicks and Timberwolves at home. This can go either way, but a small lean on the over. .

Yes, I'm aware no Bynum, but that doesn't mean anything for a Laker team that continues to cover and rock and roll without Bynum. Yes, the Celtics have revenge, but that hasn't stopped the Lakers from getting it done so far but of course, Boston will be up and ready with revenge in this game. But, then again, the Lakers still have revenge from losing an entire Championship Series to this team. Boston has missed back to back covers and the Laker have covered their last 4 games – all of their games on this Eastern Conference road trip essentially. I actually lean slightly on the under, but if the Lakers are an active dog, this game will go over. Tough to call either way, I will not test the ability of either of these two teams.
