I've read about this and it's pretty interesting. It's almost like DNA retains memories.

I've never seen Citizen Kane and I just deleted it off my NetFlix queue. Acting in these old movies is so terrible it's hard to believe. I watched Casablanca a few months ago for the first time and it sucked. I'm giving up on trying to make myself like these "classic" movies.

Thanks for the warning. I saw one scene where Scarlett was being a bitch and I thought then I would never watch it. It did get my interest since it was so widely watched.

I once was hiking on a trail in Illinois when I was in high school with 5 other people (3 girls, 2 guys and I) when a group of guys jumped me,,,they just appeared from nowhere really. There were 4 of them and they were as big or bigger than me. I was the same height then as i am now 6'1" tall (about 180lbs back then). They attacked me and no one else. I was wearing a hat that they wanted and took it from me and beat me almost to death. The people I was with were good friends of mine...they never helped. I managed to catch up to them after awhile about 100 yds or so down the trail. The acted like they didn't know I was gone. I looked at them as they walked away and they were all looking at me and turned and left me there to get my assed kicked...I was bleeding everywhere and swollen. But it hurt more that my friends turned their backs on me that day. I haven't seen them since. I have a hard time trusting people now and it has been over 30 years.

There are some incredible performances in Citizen Kane. Try "The Third Man" first, and if you like it, then try Citizen Kane.

I always wonder what motivates people to jump someone. I cant fight and never have fought, so i probably would have called for help, but to just leave you, thats some messed up stuff

I always wondered this myself...just don't know how people could be so damn mean...I tried to fight back but it was pointless. Geez, even fighting off 5 old ladys would be hard when they surround you. I was a verrrrry mellow person then as well as now. I was taught to be nice to people...guess many are not taught these things.
