hi dr homer.

no ! 1 nba unit = 1 college football unit = 1 nfl unit, and so on. historically, i do a lot better in college sports, hence i bet more on college games than on pro games. my college football plays can go as high as 15-20*, my college basketball plays can go as high as 25* and my pro sports plays are in a 1-10* range. gl, ptw.

why i like detroit ? well this is a team unlike all other teams in the nba. even when shorthanded (no hamilton and atkins today) they always seem to be able to step up and play better as a team.they have no real superstars and i dont think theres one irreplacable player on there roster. there bench is as good as there starters. they won 3 straight and 6 0f last 7 against atlanta.they lost a big revenge game yesterday, as a favorite. but they won 9 straight games su and ats after losing a revenge game as a favorite in last 2 years. all 9 on the road, 6 times as underdogs. that tells you a lot about this team. they learn from there losses, and they bounce back well.gl, ptw.

ptw,

a stupid question but was wondering if you knew this, and does it change your play?

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Richard Hamilton of the Detroit Pistons left Sunday night's game against the New Orleans Hornets because of a strained neck.

Hamilton was injured in the last minute of the first half when he was fouled by Baron Davis while making a layup. He landed awkwardly and stayed down for several minutes, but remained in the game and made the free throw.

After the shot, he grimaced and grabbed at his left shoulder before playing the final 50 seconds of the half. He then was taken to a hospital for precautionary x-rays.

Detroit was already short two players. Starting center Elden Campbell left the team just before the game because of a family illness, and Lindsey Hunter strained his left knee earlier in the second quarter.

yes i knew that. off course i would be a lot more confident if all there players were healthy, but as i said in my previous post,i stil think the pistons have what it takes to win under these circumstances. thanks and gl.

thumbs up, pistons.

arent they a special bunch of basketball players. it takes some serious team work to overcome a big deficit, a team shotting free throws like atlanta does, and all that without the second leading scorer, the day after they lost a hart breaker on a last shot by new orleans.

nilson: i had some huge cash on this game, but believe me, i'm more glad for you than for me. dont get me wrong buddy but what you did was very very stupid. hope you learn from it.gl, ptw.

tuesday play comming up shortly.

Nice Cover. and that is what that was a COVER

Not a great selection, but a cover

I like Detroit as well, but lets not wager too many times on "special bunch of players"

Good cover

newport, thats exactly how i see it. no team is good enough to follow blindly. i'm always looking for SPOTS. good and bad spots. this was a good spot for detroit from my point of view. they really are a special bunch of guys, and in a spot like this one, they are the team to bet on. there are some other spots where they are always a good fade. gl, and thanks, ptw.

Newpers is just nervous about what's going to happen to his Cowgirls in 2 weeks PTW. Don't worry about him.
