As Christians, we must do our best to ensure that our actions are accurate reflections of our beliefs. Our theology must be demonstrated, not only by our words but, more importantly, by our actions. In short, we should be practical believers, quick to act whenever we see an opportunity to serve God.

God never does anything for a man that the man can do for himself. The Lord is too busy for that. So look after your own business and let the Good Lord look after His.

The above will be my last post in this thread.

They come from the book “Purpose For Everyday Living”, Finding God in your everyday life, 365 Devotions.

I started this on July 25th and I must have been doing something right because it got the attention and responses from “the enemy”. Funny how those various preachers were right.

Anyway, I’m done with gambling since 5Ho’s shut down and have no plan to start again unless PCH finds my place with that $1,000 a day for the rest of my life. And the odds of that may be better than getting folks here to agree on something as simple as an instant replay review, much less COVID, politics or religion.

No need to elaborate much more, but will leave with one final thought for those who love a value bet...

IF those of you who don’t believe in God, Satan, Heaven, Hell are wrong and you live your lives in such a way that doesn’t go well for you on Judgement Day then you just lost the ultimate payout: + ETERNITY/1.

It’s never too late to be on the right side...:103631605

"Criticisms of the doctrines of Hell can focus on the intensity or eternity of its torments, and arguments surrounding all these issues can invoke appeals to the omnipotence, omniscience, and omnibenevolence of God.

If one believes in the idea of eternal Hell, unending suffering, or the idea that some souls will perish (whether destroyed by God or otherwise), author Thomas Talbott says that one has to either let go of the idea that God wishes to save all beings, or accept the idea that God wants to save all, but will not "successfully accomplish his will and satisfy his own desire in this matter."[SUP][3]

Is that the last post ONLY in this thread, or in the rx altogether? You got issues.

Hey Timmy, this sucks. I hate to lose good guys from the board. In my opinion your contributions have value here. I hope you reconsider.

Here's my personal guide : If you try to do the right thing for others as well as yourself all through the journey the destination will be glorious just as the ride is.

What will be your new focus? What's gonna replace this passtime and this community?

"Purgatorial Universalism was the belief of some of the early church fathers, especially Greek-speaking ones such as Clement of Alexandria, Origen, and Gregory of Nyssa. It asserts that the unsaved will undergo hell, but that hell is remedial (neither everlasting nor purely retributive) according to key scriptures and that after purification or conversion all will enter Heaven. Judaism teaches something similar – hell is an intense experience of cleansing, more an expression of kindness than a punishment.[SUP][13]

[/SUP]Fourth-century Christian theologian and Bishop Diodorus of Tarsus wrote: "For the wicked there are punishments, not perpetual, however, lest the immortality prepared for them should be a disadvantage, but they are to be purified for a brief period according to the amount of malice in their works. They shall therefore suffer punishment for a short space, but immortal blessedness having no end awaits them… the penalties to be inflicted for their many and grave sins are very far surpassed by the magnitude of the mercy to be shown to them."[SUP][14]

It's the fictional god who tortures billions forever believed in by many Christians today. Not the real God.

The real God is the Saviour of all. That's real positive good news.

Not the negative fictional news of the false god.
On judgment day you'll stand before almighty God & have to explain to him why you purposefully distorted his word to others ..... good luck with that , your gonna need it :hahahahah

Luck has nothing to do with it. The future salvation of all is already determined. It's a lock.

And on judgement day it is - you - who will have to explain why - you - distorted His Word and His character to others.

In multiple threads & posts here on the Rx your erroneous remarks on this subject have been exposed & corrected.

Love Omnipotent is not a weak impotent hateful god who is a sicko sadistic monster for eternity as you evilly portray Him.

"evilly - in a wicked evil manner; "act wickedly"; "grin evilly" wickedly."
